Grace Suite Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 6 December 2025

Our Commitment

Grace Suite, including Grace Companion, Grace Notes and Grace Care Facilities, is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities, cognitive impairments and older users who may face technology challenges. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and comply with the UK's Equality Act 2010 and the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

Voice-First Design

Recognising that many elders and individuals with cognitive impairments struggle with traditional interfaces, Grace Companion is built voice-first:

  • Natural language conversation without complex menus
  • Speech-to-text for hands-free interaction
  • Text-to-speech for all responses and reminders
  • Voice cloning for familiar, comforting reminders
  • Minimal visual complexity with single-screen flows

Visual Accessibility

Our visual design includes:

  • High contrast: WCAG AA compliant colour ratios throughout
  • Large text: Base font size of 16px with generous line spacing
  • Clear typography: Easy-to-read fonts without decorative elements
  • Focus indicators: Clear keyboard focus states on all interactive elements
  • Scalable interface: Works with browser zoom up to 200%
  • No colour dependency: Information conveyed beyond colour alone
  • Consistent layout: Predictable navigation and structure

Known Limitations

We are continuously improving, but some limitations currently exist:

We are actively working to address these limitations in future updates.
